Eligible VC-funded companies can access $10,000 in GitHub credits through the GitHub for Startups program to help build, ship, and scale software on GitHub’s .These credits can be used flexibly across the entire GitHub product suite, including GitHub Enterprise licenses and add-ons such as GitHub Copilot (including premium models and agentic workflows), Advanced Security, Codespaces, larger runners, and more - giving startups the freedom to use the tools that best support their development workflow.

Rules

  • This perk is for funded startups only. You must have raised outside equity funding (up to Series B) from investors. Companies that are bootstrapped, self-funded, grant-funded, etc are not eligible. 
  • New to GitHub Enterprise (or have not been on a GitHub Enterprise plan within the past six months)
  • Have not previously received GitHub for Startups credits or GitHub Enterprise licenses
  • A valid payment method must be on file to activate the credits
