This authorization describes the terms that apply when you set up a recurring transfer rule between your Mercury account and a linked external account. Section A applies to Personal Banking accounts; Section B applies to Business Banking accounts.
Section A — Personal Banking
By checking the box on the rule-creation screen, you authorize Mercury, through its banking partners, to initiate recurring electronic fund transfers (ACH credits) from your Mercury account to the external account you've linked, according to the parameters you've selected. Mercury records the specific details of each transfer rule you authorize (the accounts, amount, frequency, and first transfer date) at the moment you check the box, and provides them to you in an email confirmation.
As part of that authorization:
- This authorization remains in effect until you cancel the applicable auto-transfer rule in your Mercury account settings.
- You may cancel this authorization at any time by navigating to Auto-Transfers in your Mercury account and deleting the rule. Cancellations made after a transfer has been initiated may not prevent that transfer from processing.
- Mercury retains a record of each authorization and provides it to you via email confirmation at the time the rule is created.
- This authorization does not grant Mercury permission to debit your external account. You may be separately asked to authorize pulls in the future.
Section B — Business Banking
By checking the box on the rule-creation screen, you authorize Mercury, through its banking partners, to initiate recurring electronic fund transfers (ACH credits) from the Mercury account identified below to the external account linked, according to the parameters selected.
As part of that authorization:
- This authorization will remain in effect until you cancel this auto-transfer rule in your Mercury account settings.
- You may cancel this authorization at any time by navigating to Auto-Transfers in your Mercury account and deleting this rule. Cancellations made after a transfer has been initiated may not prevent that transfer from processing.
- Mercury retains a record of each authorization.
- This authorization does not grant Mercury permission to debit your external account. You may be separately asked to authorize pulls in the future.
- The individual accepting this authorization on behalf of the business represents that they have authority to bind the business to these terms.
