Jon is an early-stage investor and mentor focusing on pre-seed and seed. He was previously the co-founder and CEO of Starcity, a global coliving company that raised over $50M in venture capital and was backed by Bullpen Capital, Deciens, NEA, Social Capital, and Y Combinator. Starcity was acquired by Common in 2021 after narrowly escaping the pandemic. He was in the YC Core batch in the Summer of 2016 and the YC Growth batch in the Winter of 2019.

This multi-stage fund invests in companies solving the world’s most pressing challenges: Environment, Cities, Health & Wellbeing, and Financial Inclusion. His fund, Daft Capital, focuses on mentorship, storytelling, and training of first-time founders to execute their big vision. \n\nThe combined portfolio of companies includes AvantStay, Blair, Buoyant Aero, Craft Aerospace, Elix, Jupe, Marine Layer, Mercury, Mighty Buildings, Block Renovation, Remote, Ruth Health, Verifiable, and Waterplan.
