As a General Partner at Propel, David invests in early-stage companies leveraging technology to transform financial services. His professional experience includes working at leading retail and commercial banks, BBVA, and Silicon Valley Bank.\n\nAt Propel, David was a founding investor responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing investments. Representative deal experience includes $200k to $8M initial investments in companies such as Hippo, Guideline, Newfront, Paceline, Steady, TravelBank, TrustLayer, Azos, Grabango, Tierra, and Ease. David has served on the boards of Steady and TrustLayer and an observer or board guest role at Neon, Ease, Paceline, TravelBank, Grabango, Azos, and Charlie.\n\nAt BBVA, David focused on venture capital investments into growth stage businesses, corporate development, strategy, and M&A. He was involved in BBVA’s acquisition of Simple and investments in companies such as DocuSign, Coinbase, Earnest, SumUp, and Personal Capital. David continues as a board observer at SumUp.\n
